Eric from Tanlines has a splatter paint guitar. Jesse from Tanlines tucks in his button-downs. It's that kind of birthday party when Tanlines play, post-prom at the Unitarian church with drunk nuns serving spiked limeade to the honor students. Everyone deserves to let loose. That apparently included the soundtechs at KEXP who recorded this live set for the group. We heard they kept their headphones on but took off their shirts, waved them around their heads like helicopters. We didn't actually hear that. But we did hear that tiny little Joy Division nod in "S.A.W."
