Earlier this year, Unknown Mortal Orchestra released their fourth studio album Sex & Food, a project largely inspired by Ruban Nielson's global travels. The band spent a good amount of time recording in the heat of monsoon season in Hanoi, Vietnam. Today, they announced that those studio sessions will comprise a new, instrumental project IC-01 HANOI.

The album was recorded in collaboration with with local Hanoi musician Minh Nguyen and Nielson's father. It'll be out in full via Jagjaguwar on October 26, but until then, UMO has shared the sixth track off the record. It's a sprawling cut that builds with the fury of a storm, thanks in part to Chris Nielson's hulking saxophone. Listen to "Hanoi 6" below.
