Watch Jay Rock’s Lonely “Money Trees Deuce” Video
The rapper turns in a solitary visual for his new single.
Jay Rock put out a clip for his fluid new single, “Money Trees Deuce:” working with the director Jack Begert, the MC puts together a chillingly-isolated video. During one section, the rapper sits in the same chair for what seems to be an entire day, just smoking and staring into space while a stream of people pass by. This suits the track, which is about single-mindedly pursuing success: “can’t nobody hold me back, I’m a locomotive steam-rolling, gotta keep that money-stream open.” By the end of the clip, Rock has found his way to some trees, but the money is still nowhere to be seen.
