Funk Flex Shares “10 Bands” Reference Track
“I got this from someone in Drake’s camp. They reached out.”
While Drake's longtime producer Noah "40" Shebib defended his cohort against Meek Mill's allegations that "Drake don't write his own raps," Hot 97 DJ Funk Flex is taking a different stance. Within a few hours of Shebib saying, "You're smokin that shit you say you selling if you think someone wrote that shit," Flex has shared the reference track for "10 Bands," recorded by Quentin Miller, who's credited as a co-writer on six tracks from If You're Reading This It's Too Late. Flex released the track (which you can listen to a snippet of above) along with his commentary: “If Drake does write everything everyone owes him an apology. If he doesn’t, I go on the record as [saying] he’s a fraud...I got this from someone in Drake’s camp. They reached out. They saw me keeping it 100 on [Instagram.]” While Drake has yet to comment publicly on this whole situation, he reportedly told a fan, "I signed up for greatness, this comes with it."
