Watch The Weeknd Play A New Song Live

The Weeknd debuted a previously-unheard song during a show yesterday. He retweeted a SoundCloud file of the performance with the caption, “New shit played at the London Private Island event.” The chorus of the track is peak Weeknd: “I’m a prisoner to my addicted,” he sings. “I’m addicted to a life that’s so empty and so cold.”

The Weeknd’s currently riding high behind “Can’t Feel My Face” (No. 2 on the Hot 100), “The Hills” (No. 10), and “Earned It” (No. 22). His next album, Beauty Behind The Madness, is due out at the end of August. In addition to those hits, two other Weeknd songs leaked earlier this year—no word on yet on whether those will make the album as well.
