Some of us look back on our hometowns with pride, while others simply acknowledge the influence their city had on them and how they view the world; some of us do both. In a new video from Beats by Dre, Straight Outta Compton actors O'Shea Jackson Jr. and Corey Hawkins discuss growing up in the San Fernando Valley and Washington D.C. respectively, and how their towns have affected their paths. "I saw a lot, kinda, growing up," Hawkins says. "But I think when you can rise above and get out, and then go back and have that pride, it's powerful."
