Adele’s 25 Smashed Another Sales Record
The album sold another million copies its second week in stores.
Billboard reports that Adele followed up a record-breaking debut week by selling another 1.11 million copies of 25. This makes her the first artist of the Neilsen Soundscan Era (post 1991) to sell more than a million albums in two consecutive weeks. In total, 4.49 million copies of her full-length were purchased in just 14 days.
