Halsey Covered Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself”

During a recent stop at Australia’s Triple J radio, Halsey paid tribute to Justin Bieber’s latest No. 1 hit. While the radio version revolves around acoustic guitar and a barely-there beat, Halsey worked with a keyboard player and a percussionist. In her hands, the song became less radio-friendly: If you like the way you look that much, then baby you should go and fuck yourself.

This is not the first time the singer has covered Justin Bieber: last year, she performed a version of “What Do You Mean” and spliced it together with The Weeknd’s “Often.”

Halsey also appears on Bieber’s Purpose, dueting with him on “The Feeling,” which is co-produced by Skrillex.
