Sky Ferreira On Her Next Album: “There Isn’t A Timeline On Music Or Creativity”
The singer asks people to stop bullying her.
Yesterday Sky Ferreira hopped on Twitter to address those who are accusing her of spending too much time putting together her next record. "I never gave a date on my album," she wrote. "Therefore there's no delay. Bullying me on the Internet or whatever will not make the process faster."
"There isn't a timeline on music or creativity in general," she added. "Quality over quantity." She also stressed the value and joy in her ongoing process: "only positive things have been happening when it comes to making this album."
Earlier this year, the singer told Dazed, "when I feel like... I'm somewhat comfortable with it, that's when the album ends." She recently teamed up with Primal Scream on "Where The Light Gets In;" listen to that here.
