The Yeah Yeah Yeahs Played A Surprise Set In New York Last Night
The band hasn’t played together in two years.
Last night, at a party for famed rock n roll photographer Mick Rock's new documentary SHOT! The Psycho-Spiritual Mantra of Rock, which just debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs played a surprise set for everyone in attendance.
New York's Dream Hotel hosted bandmates Karen O, Nick Zinner, and Brian Chase, along with Jaleel Bunton of TV On The Radio, and Beastie Boys affiliate Money Mark. Watch the band, who haven't performed together since 2014, run through cuts from Lou Reed, David Bowie, and The Ramones, with drummer Marky Ramone(!!!) below.
