Kanye West Talks The Life Of Pablo Tour, Wiz Khalifa And Taylor Swift Beefs In New Interview

He also talked about Taylor and Wiz in a new interview with Steve Harvey.

Kanye West showed up for a chat on Steve Harvey's radio show this morning (apparently the host isn't holding a grudge for those lyrics on "FACTS.") According to the artist, there's a tour in support of The Life Of Pablo in the works, and it could kick off in September. The FADER reached out to a rep for Kanye and was told “no comment.”

The discussion begins around the 16 minute mark:

You know, my tour game is strong. My tour game is unprecedented. So we're going to go out in September I believe, and we're just working on some of the ideas right now. But as I said before, I'm trying to literally inspire these kids the way Disney inspired me when I first saw the original Star Wars.

He also said that his Twitter war with Wiz Khalifa started when he came to the defense of his wife over that "KK" tweet. But all that is settled now, he said, because he has love for all parents.

I've talked to Wiz, Amber's talked to Kim, but I really want to stress the amount of respect that I have for parents. There is no concept of anyone being in a home with someone else's child or that type of concept. So everyday I feel more deeply, deeply apologetic about that concept, because I only want to put out positive, positive, positive concepts.

Kanye also touched on his other beef with Taylor Swift, who either was or was not cool with Kanye's shot at her on The Life Of Pablo's “Famous,” when he rapped I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, why? / I made that bitch famous. Swift referenced the lyrics at this year's Grammys.

That situation is not about Kanye West not about Taylor Swift. I'm not going to mention no politician's names but I'm just saying that there are lot of people in America that feel like they now have a platform to stand up and express the cause of racism. Now, before they had that platform, one really way to express it was to say 'F Kanye West.' We was brought over here as unpaid interns, bro. Lincoln turned us into assistants.

But according to Kanye, all the beefs and outbursts stem from his sense of altruism. “Anytime y'all ever heard me scream and jump up and down or whatever it was, it's because I wanted to bring the people something to a higher potential than what the powers that control the money, control the image, control the media, controls the perception, wanted me to.” Listen to the entire interview above.
