DJ Khaled Is Kind Of Scared Of Beyoncé
Not pissing off Beyoncé may be another major key to success.
DJ Khaled is a slick talker and a born salesman. He's not shy about admitting it either: he recently told The New York Times Magazine, "Basically, I’m one of the greatest producers ever. And I’m also one of the greatest D.J.s ever. And I’m also one of the best executives ever."
All that said, it would seem there is one person who has the power to hush him: Beyoncé. According to Khaled, who is opening for the star on the Formation Tour, his remarkable powers of speech suddenly evaporate in Beyoncé's presence.
"I'm very quiet," Khaled explained to The New York Times Magazine. "Every time I've ever seen her is when I'm with my brother Jay Z, and I just say, 'Hi,' and I look the other way so fast, and I kind of run. I just don't want to say nothing too much. I'm not messing that up."
