TIDAL Has Gained 1.2 Million Users After Beyoncé’s LEMONADE Exclusive
The service shared new numbers this week.
According to data obtained from TIDAL by The New York Times, the streaming service has benefited immensely from the exclusive rights to Beyoncé's LEMONADE. The platform suggested that it added 1.2 million users since the album's release, including subscribers and trial-users. In March, TIDAL said it had around three million subscribers.
The album has reportedly been streamed 306 million times worldwide—for comparison's sake, Kanye West's The Life Of Pablo accrued more than 250 million streams during a ten-day exclusivity period—while the visual has been watched an additional 11 million times.
