See The Chain Ben Baller Made J Balvin For His New Album
The reggaeton champion emptied his pockets on a visit to our New York office.
In town to promote his new single "Bobo" (16 million views on YouTube in less than a week) and upcoming album (June), FADER global issue cover star J Balvin stopped by our New York office.
Before heading uptown to hang out with popular drive time DJ Alex Sensation, he emptied his pockets. First, there was a canary diamond pendant, just completed by Los Angeles jeweler Ben Baller, in the shape of a thunderbolt—the emoji-promo-ready symbol of Balvin's new album. The rest is simple: a phone to Snapchat with, a charge cord and external hypercharger, some matches, and one cool pair of sunglasses.
