Young Vocalist Noita Premieres “Over Here,” Produced By AODAN
A new track about “the impatience of being infatuated with someone or something that you know is terrible for you but you can’t get over.”
Noita is the project of 19-year old student Noa Southcott who's based in Toronto by way of Playa Del Carmen, Mexico and Victoria, Canada. Today Noita premieres the AODAN-produced "Over Here," a dark take on the frustration that comes with having feelings for another person you wish you didn't have.
"'Over Here' is about a time in my life when I was young, depressed, and confused," Noita told The FADER in an email. "It's about the impatience of being infatuated with someone or something that you know is terrible for you but you can’t get over. Being in love with someone who is detrimental to you but not wanting to face the heartbreak of leaving. I wrote it late one night when I wasn’t really in my right mind and having thought about it all night I just had to get it out of my system."
