Watch Adele Dedicate Her Live Show To The Victims Of The Orlando Shooting
In Antwerp, the singer paid a tearful tribute to those who lost their lives at Pulse.
Less than 24 hours after 50 people were killed in a shooting at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, FL, Adele paid tribute to those who lost their lives. Appearing in Antwerp, Belgium on June 12, she broke down in tears as she spoke about the violent attack on Orlando's LGBT community.
After opening with "Hello," Adele addressed the audience and said, “I’d like to start tonight by dedicating this entire show to everybody in Orlando, and at Pulse nightclub last night.” She then added, “The LGBTQI community... they’re like my soulmates, since I was really young, so I’m really moved by it." She began to cry while saying this. Hamilton star Lin Manuel Miranda made a similarly emotional speech at the Tonys on Sunday night.
