The Game And Snoop Dogg Organized A March To LAPD Headquarters
The rally was titled Operation H.U.N.T. (Hate Us Not Today).
Friday morning The Game and Snoop Dogg called for the men of Los Angeles to meet and peacefully march to the LAPD headquarters. "ALL AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN, MEXICAN AMERICAN MEN & any other RACE of REAL MEN with heart to stand with us today & walk peacefully to the LAPD headquarters. [LEAVE ALL WOMEN & CHILDREN AT HOME... THIS IS OUR MISSION FOR THEM]," The Game types in his long Instagram post seen above. The goal of the protest was to be "unified as minorities and we will no longer allow them to hunt us or be hunted by us."
The group made its way to the LAPD headquarters where a class of officers were graduating. L.A. Times reporter Kate Mather has been tweeting throughout the protest and posted quotes from the LAPD's Chief Officer Beck as he was addressing the graduating officer class. "This is not about black lives, this is not about brown lives, this is not about blue lives," Beck said. "This is about America."
