The 2016 Polaris Prize Short List Is Here
Grimes, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Jessy Lanza are all in the running for the $50,000 prize.
The Polaris Prize, a $50,000 prize for the best Canadian album "without regard to musical genre or commercial popularity," shared the shortlist for their 2016 prize, narrowing down ten albums from their longlist, released in June. The winner will be announced on September 19.
