Watch The Mothers Of The Movement Speech At The Democratic National Convention

The mothers of victims of police violence, referred to as "Mothers of the Movement," took the stage at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday night for a powerful speech.

Following a video featuring the mothers of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Sandra Bland, as well as Hillary Clinton, the mothers appeared on stage as the crowd chanted "Black Lives Matter."

"I am an unwilling participant in this movement," Trayvon Martin's mother told those gathered on the convention floor. "I did not want this spotlight." The mother of Jordan Davis offered a powerful endorsement for Hillary Clinton, telling the crowd, "Hillary Clinton isn't afraid to say 'Black Lives Matter.'"
