Usain Bolt’s Finish Line Antics Have The Internet Going Crazy
The Jamaican sprinter shared a good-natured moment with Canada’s Andre De Grasse during the men’s 200 meter semi-final race.
After easily winning his heat in the men's 200 meter qualifiers, and providing some hilarious images along the way, Usain Bolt cruised to victory again in the 200 meter semi-finals on Wednesday night in Rio de Janeiro.
Bolt, who is notorious for his finish line antics, had some stiff competition from Canada's Andre De Grasse during tonight's race, and the two sprinters shared a hilarious moment as they crossed the finish line. Bolt won the race, even as he turned his head to flash a grin at De Grasse, and both men were still smiling well after the race. The men's 200m final takes place on Thursday at 9:30 EST.
The internet loved the good-natured moment between the two friendly competitors, and some are calling for De Grasse and Bolt to have their own "buddy cop show" among other things.
