Apple Isn’t Making It Easy To Screencap Or Record Frank Ocean’s Endless

Frank Ocean's visual album Endless is streaming now on Apple Music, but if you want to screencap an image you like, or use Quicktime to record a short (and legal) sampling of the record, you might have to get creative. Mac users trying to take a picture of the iTunes program using CMD+SHIFT+4 while it plays Endless will only get a gray screen, seen below:

Recording off Quicktime produces an error message: "This movie won't play on your display."

The FADER has reached out to Apple for comment.
