Kanye Wrote A Poem About McDonalds For Frank Ocean’s Boys Don’t Cry Zine
Ye is highly suspicious of french fries. 🍟
Last night, Frank Ocean dropped his third studio album Blond, along with his long-awaited Boys Don't Cry zine only available at four pop-up locations. Along with the publication, Frank credited a long list of contributors, including Jamie Xx, Kendrick Lamar, and even Beyoncé.
Kanye West also made an important contribution to the Boys Don't Cry zine by writing a poem entitled "The McDonald's Man." In the poem, Kanye suggest he doesn't trust McDonalds because he doesn't "trust no food that smells that good." It seems that Kanye is highly suspicious of french fries especially, which he made clear when he tweeted once that french fries are the devil.
The poem is also accompanied by photos taken by Nabil Elderkin of an impatient Kanye at a McDonalds drive through. Read the full poem below.
Frank Ocean's second studio album Endless and third studio album Blond are out now.
The McDonalds Man
Calabassas, California
McDonalds man
McDonalds man
The French fries had a plan
The French fries had a plan
The salad bad and the ketchup made a band
Cus the French fries had a plan
The French fries had a plan
McDonalds man
McDonalds man
I know them French fries had a plan
I know them French fries had a plan
The cheeseburger and the shakes formed a band
To overthrow the French fries plan
I always knew them French fries was evil man
Smelling all good and shit
I don’t trust no food that smells that good man
I don’t trust it
I just can’t
McDonalds man
McDonalds man
McDonalds, damn
Them French fries look good tho
I knew the diet Coke was jealous of the fries
I knew the McNuggets was jealous of the fries
I could see it through his artificial meat eyes
And he only be there some of the time
Everyone was jealous of them French fries
Expect for that one special guy
That smooth apple pie
