Watch A Mini-Documentary About Japan’s Grime Scene

Boiler Room has shared Full Circle: Grime In Japan, a seven-minute documentary about grime musicians in Japan. A handful of artists are profiled, including Pakin, who runs with Dark Elements in Birmingham as well as his own grime crew, Tokyo's GUM; Chocola B, a hip-hop mixtape collector turned DJ and producer, and; MC Snow, a Japanese hip-hop veteran seduced by grime's freshness. The short's focus is a discussion of what grime means to each individual, and how Japan's small but passion scene is striking out with their own sound. Watch above.
