Watch Nicki Minaj Fall To Her Knees While Meeting Idol Lauryn Hill

After she dragged Donald Trump and his wife Melania at the TIDAL X: 1015 benefit concert last night, Nicki Minaj had the rare opportunity to meet one of her idols. Neo-soul legend Lauryn Hill was also on the bill and decided to come to Nicki's dressing room to greet the Trinidadian rapper. In a Instagram clip, Nicki can be seen falling to her knees crying, "No no no no no," in disbelief. She bowed down to Hill before confessing her admiration for the singer: “I’m in love with you. I’m in love with your spirit, your mind — everything about you." Watch below.

Nicki also posted two pictures with Lauryn Hill, captioning one of them, "I quoted her in my HS YEARBOOK!!!!!" It turns out Nicki selected a powerful lyric from Lauryn Hill's "Father Forgive Them" from The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill: "To survive is to stay alive in the face of opposition."
