Listen To Episode 34 Of OVO Sound Radio
With guest mixes from DJ Esco and Zaytoven.
Correction: This article was updated on November 20 at 9:40 a.m. to correct The FADER's untrue statement about the ad-libs on "Poppin Tags."
On tonight's episode of OVO Sound Radio, Oliver El-Khatib kicked off the show and was joined by DJ Esco, the right-hand man of Future, and Zaytoven, a producer in close collaboration with Gucci Mane, who both brought the Atlanta heat.
Before the show started, fans were speculating about the amount of new music they would get. Earlier this month, Drake and Future surprise dropped a new video for track "Used To This." Additionally, Zaytoven has been hinting at a Gucci Mane and Drake collaborative EP entitled The Sixers that has yet to see the light of day.
Fortunately for them, the hosts all delivered on their promises and gave us a ton of new stuff to listen to. More details below.
Update (6:30 p.m.): Oliver El-Khatib started off his mix with a slew of new tunes.
Update (7:07 p.m.): DJ Esco premiered two new Future tracks.
Midway through, DJ Esco played a never-before-heard Future track called "Ain't Tryin." Towards the end of his set, he also premiered a new sultry Ty Dolla $ign track featuring 2fourhrs. Esco finally capped off his guest mix by premiering another brand new Future track called "Poppin Tags."
Correction: In a since-deleted tweet, The FADER wrote that "Poppin Tags" featured ad-libs of the word "Panda." It definitely does not, because why would it?
Update (7:40 p.m.): Zaytoven came through for his guest mix.
Zaytoven didn't come with that any Sixers cuts, but he closed out his set with throwback Gucci Mane and Usher.
