Nas Is Selling Kneeling Santa Christmas Sweaters For Charity
Kris Kringle x Colin Kaepernick.
Last week, 2 Chainz announced a new run of ugly Christmas sweaters benefiting his charity, The TRU Foundation. Now, Billboard has reported that Nas is debuting his own seasonal jumpers through his HSTRY clothing line, but with a twist: instead of depicting Santa dancing, as Tity Boi's line does, Nas's sweater features Father Christmas taking a knee, a nod to the ongoing protest of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
Fittingly, a share of the profits from the sweaters will go towards the Center for Court Innovation, a criminal justice reform non-profit. According to its website, the Center aims to "help create a more effective and humane justice system by designing and implementing operating programs, performing original research, and providing reformers around the world with the tools they need to launch new strategies."
The sweaters come in black, green, and red, and cost $45 each at HSTRY's webstore.
