President Obama Will Reportedly Host Jay Z, Beyoncé, Oprah, And More At His Final White House Party
The Obamas will bid farewell to the White House with a star-studded event this Friday.
Barack and Michelle Obama will host one final party on Friday before leaving the White House, and the event is already shaping up to draw some big names. As The Washington Post reports, via a source with knowledge of the party, the guest list will feature key figures such as Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, Jay Z, Usher, Bradley Cooper, and more.
The Obamas first discussed their plans for the event in an interview with People in December. President Obama seemingly confirmed the news, telling a young fan that they were having a "grown up" party before leaving the White House. The Washington Post reports that Stevie Wonder, J.J. Abrams, and George Lucas are also rumored to be in attendance. Following the party, Barack Obama will return to Chicago for a farewell speech on January 10, which will be free to attend on a first-come-first-serve basis and available to livestream for those at home.
