Migos’s “Bad And Boujee” Returns To No. 1 On The Hot 100
The Atlanta trio’s viral single dethroned Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” to reclaim the top spot for the second week.
After falling to No. 2, Migos's "Bad and Boujee" has returned to No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart, Billboard reports. The song first claimed the top spot on the chart on January 9, but was replaced by Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" single, which debuted at No. 1 last week.
Migos's rise up the charts has been fueled, in large part, by viral memes and videos related to "Bad and Boujee." Donald Glover also shouted out the song during his acceptance speech at the Golden Globes on January 8. "I really wanna thank the Migos, not for being in the show, but for making 'Bad and Boujee,'" Glover said during the speech. "Like, that's the best song ever."
"Bad and Boujee" topped the Streaming Songs chart for the fourth week, racking up 43 million streams. The Atlanta trio's single also led the On-Demand Streaming Songs chart for the fourth week with 21 million on-demand clicks. Notably, the song has also risen from No. 34 to No. 27 on the Radio Songs chart, an increase of 23 percent in airplay audience.
