Nobody Likes Twitter’s New Change To The Reply Feature

Twitter rolled out a sweeping change to its app on Thursday, reworking the "reply" feature to hide usernames from the body of tweets. The update means that usernames will no longer be included in the 140-character limit and marks the latest change in the company's quest to distance itself from its character requirements.

Many Twitter users aren't happy about the new changes, citing the potential for complicated threads and a stream of unwanted replies. Others also pointed out that the company still hasn't gone far enough to combat harassment on the platform.
