Vince Staples May Have Posted Album Artwork and Release Date For Big Fish Theory
His album Big Fish Theory could be released Friday, May 19th.
Vince Staples may have revealed the album artwork and release date for his next project on Twitter and Instagram late Sunday. The posts, which just include the above photo and "FRIDAY 12 AM" and "5.19.17 12 AM," respectively, lacked any other context. In February, Staples' label, Def Jam released a statement to Pitchfork saying that the album would be out "very soon." In April he told Complex that the album was about "being larger than life in a smaller world."
This would be Staples' second studio album, following 2015's Summertime '06. His recent EP, Prima Donna, released in August 2016, and was accompanied by a short film directed by Nabil.
A representative for Vince Staples did not immediately return request for comment.
