JAY-Z’s 4:44 Album Has A New Trailer
The brief clip adds another layer of intrigue to the project.
JAY-Z's upcoming 4:44 album has been shrouded in mystery ever since ads started popping up earlier this month. There was the trailer starring Mahershala Ali for a movie, followed by a confirmation that it is an album, and now, another visual has premiered. It's currently unclear how the album and the film will relate to one another.
In the new black-and-white ad, titled Kill JAY Z, a teenager runs towards the camera in slow motion, a strained expression on his face. The camera slowly tilts down, revealing that he's wearing a shirt that reads, "STAY BLACK."
4:44 comes out this Friday, June 30 exclusively for TIDAL and Sprint customers.
