JAY-Z’s 4:44 Will Only Be Available To Tidal Customers Who Subscribe Before The Album Drops
After that, you’ll have to sign up for Sprint.
JAY-Z's thirteenth studio album, 4:44, drops tonight at midnight, and it's an exclusive to TIDAL subscribers and Sprint customers. However, fans will have to sign up for TIDAL before midnight in order to hear the album. After midnight, the album will only be available to Sprint customers, a source close to TIDAL confirmed to The FADER.
Earlier this year Sprint invested $200 million in TIDAL, and now the two companies are releasing JAY-Z's album in tandem. In January, Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure said that the investment would give Sprint the ability to "offer new and existing customers access to exclusive content and entertainment experiences in a way no other service can."
4:44 will be available at midnight on TIDAL.
