Beyoncé’s Twins Reveal Look Was Created By Palomo Spain, A Menswear Brand
The garment was made with 1950’s silk organza.
Beyoncé's artful reveal of her newborn twins Rumi and Sir Carter is stunning on so many levels. The serene view, the vibrant floral archway, the angelic babies and their goddess of a mother, of course. And then there's that dress.
The voluminous, ruffled, floral gown was created by Palomo Spain, a menswear brand who just debuted at New York Fashion Week: Men's in 2016. We can thank Alejandro Gomez Palomo, the label's creator and namesake, for delivering fashion that explores femininity and romance beyond the realm of womenswear.
Palomo told Vogue on Friday that Beyoncé's look was constructed from a 1950s-60s era silk organza that he found in a textile shop in Córdoba, Spain, close to his home.
Palomo Spain is certainly receiving plenty of attention via Beyoncé's iconic cosign, but check out how the look was originally modeled for the label's Spring 2017 collection.
