Michel Gondry Says He Recently Worked On An Unreleased Project With Beyoncé
But its release was delayed when Bey got pregnant.
Michel Gondry, the director behind films including Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, says he worked on a project with Beyoncé that is yet to be released.
Gondry spoke to Canadian publication La Presse while spending time in Montreal, where he was teaching a small class of students how to make a film as part of his L’Usine de Films Amateurs program. During the interview he discussed future plans to which he replied: “I have two projects: a rather personal film about my creative wanderings while shooting a movie, with rather extreme and illogical things, and a TV series for an American channel.”
He also mentioned having worked with Beyoncé on an unidentified project. “Unfortunately, it’s not out yet because she [had] twins," he said. "But it’s a finished clip [and it turned out] very, very well, I think.”
In addition to making feature films, Gondry has a long and acclaimed history making music videos for artists including Daft Punk, The White Stripes, and Bjork.
