Cardi B is nominated for two Grammys
She’ll go up against JAY-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Rapsody, and Run The Jewels for Best Rap Song.
Cardi B will return to New York a Grammy nominee. The Bronx native is up for two awards at the 2018 ceremony, due to be held at Madison Square Garden in February next year.
She is nominated twice for "Bodak Yellow" and will face off against JAY-Z ("The Story Of O.J."), Kendrick Lamar ("HUMBLE"), Rapsody ("Sassy"), and Run The Jewels ("Chase Me") in the Best Rap Song category.
For Best Rap Song, Cardi B is nominated under her songwriting name, "Washpoppin," a representative for The Grammys confirmed to The FADER. She is credited under her name for Best Rap Performance.
"Bodak Yellow" is also nominated for Best Rap Performance alongside Big Sean's "Bounce Back," JAY-Z's "4:44," Kendrick Lamar's "HUMBLE," and "Bad and Boujee" by Migos f. Lil Uzi Vert. Yep, Cardi and Offset are facing one another.
Last year these prizes were won by Drake's "Hotline Bling" and Chance The Rapper's "No Problem" respectively.
