New Jimi Hendrix album features 10 unreleased songs
Both Sides of the Sky is available March 9.
Sony Legacy Recordings has announced the release of Both Sides of the Sky, a posthumous Jimi Hendrix collection of songs recorded from 1968 to 1970, including 10 that were previously unreleased. The 13-track LP also features collaborations from Stephen Stills, Lonnie Youngblood, Jonny Winter, and Billy Cox and Buddy Miles.
As Pitchfork notes, this is the final installment of a trilogy of albums of unreleased Hendrix recordings, following 2010's Valleys of Neptune and 2013's People, Hell and Angels. Both Sides of the Sky is available March 9.
