British model Harry Uzoka killed in London
The 25-year-old was reportedly murdered after an attempted robbery.
According to BBC, Harry Uzoka has died. The British-Nigerian model was found in East Acton fatally wounded from a stab to the chest. Paramedics were not able to revive him and he was pronounced dead at the scene of the crime on January 11.
A source associated with the investigation told the Evening Standard that the killing resulted from "an attempted robbery gone wrong." Detective inspector Beverley Kofi told The Guardian that he believes "there were a number of people involved, but we are still working to establish the circumstances and a possible motive." Two suspects of the murder are currently in police custody.
Uzoka was signed to top model agency Premier Model Management and starred in campaigns for brands like Mercedes, Everlane, Zara, G-Star RAW, Levi's and ALDO. Friends from the industry including Leomie Anderson and Jourdan Dunn as well as respected colleagues have been posting touching tributes to mourn the late model.
