This member of Haim really confused some people at the Brit Awards
Este Haim videobombed Liam Payne and left a voice message apology the morning after.
Haim didn't win any awards at Wednesday night's Brits, but they managed to create one of the viral moments of the evening. It all began when host Jack Whitehall was chatting to ex-One Direction member Liam Payne and Cheryl Tweedy at their table during the ceremony. However, all attention was on what was happening behind them, chiefly Este from Haim miming "call me" to the camera and generally pulling focus. Unfortunately not everyone immediately recognized her.
Este soon fixed this, while clarifying that she was just enjoying herself.
In fact, as revealed via Instagram, Este was actually channeling the inimitable Freckle of web series The Gay and Wondrous Life of Caleb Gallo-fame.
The whole thing blew up to such an extent that, during a Radio 1 interview first thing on Thursday morning, Este jumped on a call with Cheryl to explain what she was doing. "Some people on the internet are claiming I may, or may not, have been thumbing my nose at the situation in front of me," she said in the tounge-in-cheek voice message. "I just want to let you know there's no beef... Big kiss, lots of love. We're all friends here."
