This 13-year-old guitarist owned the Olympic closing ceremony
Yang Tae-hwan didn’t come to play games, winter or otherwise
This year’s Winter Olympics came to a triumphant end on Sunday night with a closing ceremony taking place in Pyeongchang. The night had many musical moments, including a performance from K-Pop artist CL. However, it was 13-year-old Yang Tae-hwan that left the most lasting memory.
Dressed in a turtleneck and leather jacket, the teen guitarist shredded a version of Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” as a flight of drones circled above his head. Clearly, Tae-hwan isn’t new to this and was discovered on a Korean TV talent show called Star King. Check out this star-making moment above.
