Here’s a new video from Quando Rondo, the next big thing out of Georgia
Watch the clip for “Paradise,” produced by Cash Money AP.
The way Quando Rondo sings his own drop — a stretched, angelic "Quando Rondo, nigga!" — was enough to win me over. And the rest of "Paradise," an emotional declaration of loyalty produced by Cash Money AP, delivers too. The song is a welcome follow-up to this winter's "Motivation" and "I Remember," featuring Lil Baby.
And just like on those releases, Quando Rondo shows off a knack for introspection and turning pain into undeniably catchy melodies. “I was just rapping and came up with some hard shit. Paradise for me is like heaven. Livin’ your best life. Bein’ rich. If I can do that I’m good," he said in an email. The video for "Paradise," premiering today on The FADER, offers a visual guide to his lyrics: double cups, trips to the mall, and certified-real jewels, all in the company of friends.
Watch the clip above, and stay tuned for more from the Savannah, Georgia, rapper.
