Anthony Anderson will star in new Netflix film Beats

Netflix has just announced a new film starring Anthony Anderson about a young Chicago hip-hop prospect named Khalil Everage, Deadline reports. Anderson will play a once big time music manager who has sort of lost his prominence. Everage and Anderson's character eventually cross paths and take on the music industry.

The movie will include original music from Chicago native and producer Young Chop while Orange is the New Black's Uzo Aduba, Dave East, and Dreezy will co-star.
