Kevin George and Gunna made a song about unrequited love and it’s catchy as hell
Produced by CashMoneyAp.
Kevin George is processing an unrequited love and you can tell. On "She Don't Love Me," premiering today on The FADER, the 20-year-old producer-turned-singer emotes moodily, his catchy melodies sounding something like a desperate inner monologue. Gunna, who is featured on the track, sounds similarly pained.
“I made at least 100 beats for [my EP] LOVELAND. When I finally finished it I just wanted time to breath and experiment with different sounds. It can get grueling when you’re producing and mixing the music from scratch as well as writing the melodies from scratch too," says Kevin George. "I think for the first time I just wanted to sing without worrying about putting together a beat first. I found a beat from CashMoneyAP and as soon as I heard it, I had already finished the song in my head. Gunna was the icing and brought the finishing touch.”
