Pale Waves announce debut album, share new single “Eighteen”
My Mind Makes Noises is out September 14.
Pale Waves are the Manchester-based band making accessible goth synth-pop in the vein of The Cure, if that band was doing a McDonald's commercial for a new Perks of Being a Wallflower-themed value meal. I sincerely mean this as a compliment. On September 14 the band will release its debut album My Mind Makes Noises, and the announcement comes with a brand new single "Eighteen," streaming below. The puppy love anthem will join the album's previously released songs "There's A Honey," "Television Romance," "Kiss," and "Noises." Get in the mood for the project with Pale Waves frontwoman Heather Baron-Gracie's tips for staying goth in the summer, and listen to "Eighteen" below.
