Watch Kendrick Lamar acting on Power

Kendrick Lamar made his acting debut in the latest episode of Power this weekend. Lamar took on a role in the show, which also stars 50 Cent, as a drug addict named Laces. Clips from the show were shared on social media and can be seen below.

In his brief time on screen, Lamar's Laces attempted to sell Kanan (played by 50 Cent) stolen gift cards. Later on he was given a gun to sell on illegally. The short stint on screen led Lamar's label, TDE, to dub him "Kenzel Washington" on Twitter. Who knows? Perhaps he can add an Emmy to his Pulitzer Prize.
