Dua Lipa's concert in Shagnhai on Wednesday night was marred by fans being forced from their seats by security. Audience members at the National Exhibition and Convention Center have reportedly claimed that the people who were ejected had been waving flags in support of gay rights prior to security intervening.

Social media footage shows security staff physically pulling people from their seats and acting aggressively toward other audience members. Dua Lipa, speaking through tears, appeared to address what was happening from the stage. “I want to create a really safe environment for us all to have fun,” she said in video footage you can see below. “I want us all to dance. I want us all to sing. I want us all to just have a really good time.”
