Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V set for #1 debut on Billboard 200
Weezy’s back.
Lil Wayne is projected to take the top spot on the Billboard 200 charts next week with his long-awaited Tha Carter V album, Billboard reports. The album is likely to reign supreme in a big way, and is projected to sell close to 450,000 total units. Carter V could also obtain the third most first-week streaming numbers ever, landing behind Drake's Scorpion, and Post Malone's Beerbongs and Bentleys, which are this year's top two albums in terms of first-week sales.
If the project land's at #1 as projected, Tha Carter V will become Lil Wayne's fourth #1 effort, following Tha Carter III, Tha Carter IV, and I Am Not A Human Being.
