Lupe Fiasco will perform Food & Liquor in full at special concert

Lupe Fiasco has announced a one-off full album performance of Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor, his debut album, as Pitchfork points out. Fiasco will bring the 2006 project to the Novo in Los Angeles on February 23, 2019. Get tickets here.

Food & Liquor is adored by Lupe Fiasco fans and viewed by many as his best effort, and in a statement Fiasco said it was time to acknowledge its impact. “The fans have been asking for it for a long time and the time finally felt right. This album speaks to a really interesting, but special time in my career and it’s cool to be able to share that in a new way with everyone.” Special guests Gemstones (f.k.a. Gemini) and Matthew Santos will appear at the concert.

Lupe Fiasco released his seventh studio album Drogas Wave in September.
