The waves meme is drowning Spider-Man, Donald Trump, and Queen Elizabeth II

As a bald black man, one thing I miss more than just having hair on my head, is being able to get my wave pattern just right. So naturally, after seeing the recent trend of memes and videos on the internet celebrating waves, I could only sit there — jealous as fuck — patting my cold scalp with a painful nostalgia.

But of course, my player-hating envy could only turn into laughter after the internet quickly went from celebrating waves, to using it for pure fuck-ery and entertainment.

In recent weeks, I've seen memes of Barack Obama sporting waves that'd make you seasick, and one of Donald Trump replacing his weak-ass wig, with damn near perfect waves. I've even seen North Korean leader Kim Jong-un with better waves than I've ever had on my own head.

It gets worse — folks on Twitter and Instagram have gone so far as to put waves on animals and fictional characters; Spider-Man caught the Spidey-waves. So did a pre-historic dinosaur. Basically everybody but me. I'm bitter, sad, and bald.
