Ariana Grande appears to delete tweets after Mac Miller Grammy loss
She later clarified that her tweets have “nothing to do” with Cardi B.
Ariana Grande appears to have posted and deleted several tweets during Cardi B's speech for her win for Best Rap Album during the 2019 Grammys, an award which Mac Miller's 2017 album Swimming was also nominated for. According to screenshots posted on Twitter, her deleted tweets appeared to say "trash," fuck," and "literal bullshit." After people began interpreting them as shots against Cardi B, Grande quickly responded to say that the tweets had "nothing to do w her. good for her. i promise. i'm sorry."
Grande later clarified that her tweets were actually in frustration that the Grammys invited Mac Miller's parents to the ceremony yet seemed to blow them off by not giving him a win. See her responses below.
