Watch Kingsley Ibeneche’s soul-stirring “Sanctuary”
See the video below.
In "Sanctuary", soul artist Kingsley Ibeneche is drawn to the light. The Camden, NJ-based artist's vocals float over the song's airy highs, deep grooves, and saxophone solo; the perfect backdrop for this ode to love and growth. The stunning visuals pair the soul-stirring track with light-filled shots and plenty of movement; a call out to Ibeneche's past as a dancer who has previously shared the stage with artists like Travis Scott, James Blake, and Halsey.
"I wanted to create an honest, organic representation of how one comes to love," the video's director Sidney Kreitzer told The FADER over email. "Lessons are learned. There are uncertainties. We adapt. I think, naturally, we grow to learn where love is constant throughout. Then we trudge and chase after it through all of our ever-changing phases."
